Ben has extensive experience managing information security programs with the federal government, both abroad and in the continental US. His experiences with the government are broad, encompassing all domains of security as he managed physical access to information resources in forward deployed war zones to encrypting transmissions between nation states to actively monitoring and responding to attempted intrusions from foreign entities to developing written information security policies that include the appropriate use of thermite grenades to destroy classified information. He brings a unique perspective to information security exclusive to security professionals who have been tasked with protecting information which, if compromised, is a matter of life and death. Additionally, Ben has provided consultation to a number of small to medium sized businesses in all aspects of their IT needs, whether they be day-to-day computing or regulatory compliance. Ben brings a zeal for teaching, as well, and is a certified SCUBA instructor in his spare time.
